Life is nothing but a continuing cyclic journey of surprising twists and turns' that at times, appear contrary to the direction in which you are wanting to head. In fact, the road may abruptly stop throwing you in the opposite direction. But, how do you genuinely know where you are headed? You don't. That's the point! Life is an incalculable mystery revealing itself in the cracks and crevices of the hours that unfold. (Without the secrecy, we would all be bored to pieces)
So, what can we do? Get mad? Scream? Demand our way? Balk and refuse to go along with life's current program? Or pretend to give in but all the while hold an ace in the hole' counting the days until the tide shifts in our favor? "Our day will come," we pacify yourself in words of familiar comfort harboring submerged sinister glee. Come on. Get real. Our day is not coming. Our day is here. It is happening in/with every second's unfolding of a perfectly orchestrated plan of debilitating want and wonder' and in no way is out of order or haphazardly thrown in for our personal comment or discontented rebuff.
We must come down from our self-created isolated somebody did me so wrong' insulated no bathroom ivory tower; we gotta piss sometime. Realize we are not blameless, nor guileless. {Incidentally, the ones who have been were either killed, mutilated, crucified, or poisoned} We get what we get; we do what we do. Nothing is withheld nor denied in the colorfully disguised mutilated intent in the run of our days. No one other than our disgruntled discontented changeable self is involved in calling the indeterminable plays. I don't get what you get; you don't get what I get but it all works out. Can we find out, (no matter how many tickets we buy or the amount we pay) beforehand, how many home runs will be landed in the 9 innings? No. We simply show up at the plate. We can practice our swing, concentrate on the ball and engage our concentrated muscles while connecting our predetermined desire in thought. The unforeseen unresolved undisclosed final factor is the enriching devastatingly employing part of the entertaining game called destiny in life's heart-throbbing ball game.
